Depicting elegant ceremonial rooms created for the 1903 exhibition of the Kyoto Art Association, the four images here were originally woodblock prints that commemorated the exhibit. These long-format horizontal cards (9 1/4 x 4 inches closed) show a room intended for gagaku musicians, an imperial wedding room, one with ritual Shinto decorations, and a display of official court robes.
